Little, Brown and Company is a publishing firm that
has a 160 year reputation for excellence. Owned by Time Warner, the Little,
Brown imprint shepherds thousands of titles to success, such as inclusion
in Oprah Winfrey's Book Club. While the Trade Division is currently publishing
best-selling authors such as Michael Connelly and James Patterson out of New York, the
Boston-based Medical and Law Divisions were sold in
early 1998 to competing publishing houses. The professional publishing line was
comprised of approximately 700 titles, including the top selling Washington
University Manual of Medical Therapeutics.
