Ways to use Wirecast

Wirecast was designed to support a variety of usage patterns (work-flow).

This section of the documentation is intended to show you alternative ways of using Wirecast that may prove to be effective for your broadcast needs.

Two major usage patterns

There are, however, two major ways in which the application can be used:

Presenter is Operator
In this usage pattern, the person who is doing the presenting (speaking, etc), is the same person who is using the application (the operator/engineer).
Using an Engineer
In this usage pattern, an engineer (or operator) is responsible for using Wirecast, and the presenter concentrates on the content.

The presenter never needs to even know how Wirecast works.
